Free Community Health Walks
Free short walks are taking place across Hounslow.
"After my husband and I retired from work – we were looking at doing some activities together. We came across the health walk at our local green area on Facebook and decided to see what that was all about. There was no looking back – I've managed to lose two stone in weight and my husband managed to get off his cholesterol medication. We are now members of the National Trust and go on walking holidays with family and friends. "

"I found the Osterley Park health walk on Facebook. Being a new mum, I wanted to do something for myself and decided to try it out with my baby in the buggy (when she was about 12 weeks old). My baby slept through the walk but I was able to chat with the other walkers and feel a sense of normal. It was absolutely wonderful to walk with the group and feel part of the community. My little one is much older now and she sits up in the push chair babbling while we walk."
