Carrot hummus

Try this healthy and very quick to make carrot hummus for a different take on a very popular dip.


  • 1 large carrot grated
  • 1 x 400g chick peas drained
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1-2tbs tahini
  • 1tbs olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste



  1. Put all the ingredients in a food processor and whizz to desired consistency.
  2. Make it your own by seasoning with your favourite spices.
  3. Serve on toast rounds or crackers.
