This recipe incorporates fresh fruit and dark chocolate has been used containing less sugar. Its quick, simple and easy to make.
1 pack of strawberries
½ cup of chopped hazelnuts
½ cup of desiccated coconut
½ cup of flaked almonds
1 slab of 85% dark chocolate
Melt the dark chocolate and coat each strawberry with the melted chocolate leaving a gap ensuring not to cover the entire strawberry.
Then roll each strawberry in either the hazelnuts, coconut and flaked almonds and place on some greaseproof paper on a flat tray.
Allow to set in the fridge or freezer.
Can use other fruits such as mangoes
